Genocide in Gaza: Intent, Actions and a Call to Speak Out
If you see something that doesn't look right, it's wrong.
Genocide is a crime against all our humanity.
It is the intention to destroy, in whole or in part, a
group of people simply because of who they
are.
To act by causing them serious bodily and mental harm,
by deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to bring about their
physical destruction,
by killing them en masse.
And no circumstances can ever justify it.
This heinous crime has two parts. One,
intention.
The Israeli government told you what they were gonna do.
We are imposing a complete siege on the city of Gaza.
No electricity, no food, no water.
We are fighting human animals.
Two, actions. They decimated the healthcare
system.
I had to amputate limbs with blunt instrument.
Most of the patients I cared for were children with multiple
amputation, devastating burns, injuries that no child should
really endure.
They weaponized humanitarian relief.
Aid distribution centers are becoming literal
killing fields.
When you desperately go out and look for food, you
get killed. Two of my cousins were killed while they were
looking for food for their children.
This is collective punishment and extermination of the Palestinian
people.
The world has seen a televised genocide.
In times of despair, think of the ones who don't even have the
luxury to despair.
Your voice is so important, and we need it now more than any time
before.
We didn't choose solidarity.
We've lived under occupation.
We know silence is death.
Stop the genocide.
