Finding Your True Self Journey
Go find a picture of little you and look at them, really look at them.
Who was this person before the world told them who to be?
Before they knew anything about rejection, expectation, self doubt.
Before they learned to hold back. Before they spent their days going in circles
questioning whether or not they were too much or not enough.
Our truest selves often exist in the earliest versions of us.
Before we learn to shrink, to please everybody, to fit in.
And the journey of life is not about becoming something or someone new.
It's about removing all of the layers that have pulled you away from yourself.
So that you can find your way back to them.
This girl, she was bold, curious, and not afraid
to express herself. This girl didn't question if she was lovable.
She didn't hesitate to laugh, sing, or dance. This girl spoke her mind.
She dreamed without limits and existed
fully and freely. Somewhere along the way the world tried to make her forget
who she was. And it's
been a journey getting back to her. Maybe the world made you forget too. But you
did not have a 1 in 400 trillion chance of being born to spend your
life doubting yourself.
To spend your life being afraid to be yourself. You are here and you are enough.
Your job is to remember that. And to find a way to return home to you.
