on the tank in southern Lebanon.

to the disaster was a combined Hezbollah attack.

According to the initial IDF investigation, Hezbollah carried out a combined attack

and fired anti-tank missiles, probably Kornet, at the tank.

At least one explosive drone, which may have been fitted with

anti-tank weaponry, and the investigation revealed that the drone managed to penetrate

into the tank through the rear corridor, through the rear

door, after the anti-tank attack, after the Kornet attack,

and explode inside the tank, which led to a powerful explosion inside

the crew compartment, and the fact that the tank was penetrated is currently

at the center of the IDF and Armored Corps investigation. The IDF, at least

for now, rules out the possibility that the explosion was caused by a malfunction.

Technically. And one more point, the IDF has not yet extracted the tank from southern

Lebanon, which also delays the ability to conduct a much

more in-depth investigation of the incident. The extraction of the tank is expected in the coming

days.
