I believe if you are Malaysian today, you must be paying close attention to one piece of news, which is this whole Chongqing VFAA incident.

Of course there is also a very funny side to it, we’re just the onlookers eating melon.

Well, I am one of those onlookers laughing really hard, that melon-eating onlooker is me.

The origin of the whole thing is actually that our ALCP team went to Chongqing.

I was one of the qualifiers, and we went to Chongqing to have fun for about five days.

I am also very grateful to ALCP for giving me this chance to go to Chongqing, and of course because of this I got to see how this whole thing played out.

OK, so after we finished our trip in Chongqing, we were supposed to fly back to Malaysia around midnight, which was a 2:00 a.m. flight this morning.

Our boarding time was around 1:30 a.m.

OK, since our flight was at 2:00, basically our whole team had already boarded, more or less everyone was on.

We were just waiting for takeoff when suddenly a Chinese girl carrying a Gucci bag appeared, we’ll just call her the girl with the Gucci bag.

This Chinese girl suddenly started arguing loudly with a flight attendant in the back.

I clearly heard her say, I still have three friends stuck over there who haven’t boarded yet, they still haven’t gotten on the plane, can’t you wait for them?

Then she asked why they had detained her friends for half an hour, causing them to miss this flight, she was really angry.

She said, we have paid, we have the right to ask you to wait and so on.

She was basically saying, on what grounds did they detain her three friends?

At the time we did not think much of it, we just thought it was a little argument, but later she did actually go and sit in her seat.

After she sat down, it was pretty quiet for quite a while, then suddenly when the plane was about to take off and had already started taxiing,

she was still frantically calling her friends, speaking really loudly, or using WeChat voice messages and so on.

It was actually affecting the passenger next to her a bit, and really all the passengers around her.

Then the lady across the aisle reminded her that the plane was taking off and she could not make phone calls, that it would affect the plane and so on.

She then loudly snapped back at this lady, saying, has the plane already taken off now? If it has not taken off yet, me making a phone call is actually not a problem.

She felt perfectly justified in saying, "The plane hasn't even taken off yet, there's absolutely nothing wrong with me making a phone call, and you can't stop me from doing so," and so on.

Then she started arguing with the woman, and the girl with the Gucci bag realized that the woman was filming her.

So she said, in a very aggressive tone, "Please delete your photos. This is an infringement of my portrait rights."

You want her to delete it? You have millions of followers, you are famous, why are you filming me? Please delete the photo. She just kept frantically yelling at the other person to delete the photo.

But the other person also would not let it go and clearly had no intention of deleting the photo.

Then the cabin crew came over, this male flight attendant came over

The male flight attendant actually came over to stop them and prevent them from fighting

Then he spoke to her in English the whole time, because our male flight attendant does not speak Mandarin

So she could only use the international language, English, to communicate with her

So there was no other way, she got very angry and wanted to find a cabin crew member who spoke Mandarin, who spoke Chinese, to communicate with her

That’s where the problem started

Then after that, in order to handle this, the flight attendant kept looking for other colleagues to help

They searched the entire plane for a Mandarin-speaking manager to talk with her

But I believe you also saw on my story that when this manager came over and tried to speak Mandarin with her

she was actually very unwilling to communicate, she even told her, “If you don’t know how to do this, then just get off the plane.”

She's refusing to leave the plane. If you're unhappy about this, then get off the plane.

She successfully got the manager to find security after getting off the plane.

So at the time, we didn't know what had happened; we just knew it seemed a bit serious.

Then, after we asked the flight attendant, we found out we actually had to wait for airport security to come handle this.

Otherwise it would just be swept under the rug, so we could only sit and wait.
