Tribute to Fallen Heroes

May God place all our martyrs among the saints

and the righteous.

May He inspire us all with patience and calm.

Nothing pleases God except prayer performed

properly. That is what pleases God. We always pray,

all of us, except those we have lost.

We especially offer prayers

today for all those we have lost. You are not

the only ones who have suffered loss.

We take pride in this loss because it is a testimony

before God, so they may bear witness before God to what

we endure in this country of injustice and cruelty.

We ask God, the Most Merciful,

to inspire you all with patience

and solace. To God we belong, and to Him

we return. May God magnify your reward.
