… in the Middle East and about the search for possible ways to resolve… …
the urgent problems
of the Palestinian people and the resolution of the most acute issues…
… of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. In this regard,
I will highlight the main point.
The main point is that the whole process should have a positive impact on… …
the long- term
settlement of the Palestinian- Israeli conflict… … based on the relevant decisions
of the United Nations. And in order for them to be taken into account,
it is necessary that the inalienable needs and wishes of the Palestinians
be taken into account.
This concerns the recommendations…
the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip… … and its basic social infrastructure,
healthcare systems… … water supply, the establishment of an uninterrupted
supply of food.
Therefore, already now,
even before we decide the question……
of participation in the composition and in To the actual work of the Peace Council……
given the special relations
between Russia and the Palestinian people…… we could, I think,
send to the Peace Council one billion U.S.
dollars… …
from the Russian assets frozen back under the previous U.S.
administration.
