Emotional Speech at Brandenburger Tor
I just wanted to say, thank you so much,
for giving me such a beautiful performance, for your love,
for being here, for just being, for being loud, for being colorful.
That was definitely one of the most beautiful moments
I've ever had with "Vincent" and "Wie schön du bist", today at the Brandenburg Gate.
And I felt all that love there, and it was incredibly beautiful.
And I've definitely saved that moment. And it's all the more terrible
that shortly afterwards we were evacuated from backstage again,
because some idiot went crazy again and went on that rampage in Berlin.
I'm at a loss for words. I think it's terrible.
My condolences to all the loved ones of the injured and the deceased.
I don't think we know very much yet.
The vibe in the city is somehow totally ruined now.
Such a shame, and all the more reason to be loud and stay loud.
I love you all.
