Discussion on Islamic Scholars and Methodology

Sheikh, it is time for us as well, as we talk, and we began our discussion

with Allama Albani, may Allah have mercy on him, when he came toward Islam, among his

students was Muhammad Ibrahim Shaibani.

There is Muhammad Ibrahim Shaibani, the well-known Hassan Salman, and many others.

There is Salim Muhyi al-Din.

Sheikh Albani had a large number of

students, but those who follow the Sheikh's

methodology and do research, write, and work as seekers of knowledge in that same manner

are very few and far between. One of them is Abu Ishaq al-Huwayni from Egypt.

He is a very learned man. As long as he is pleased with you,

he is very friendly with you. Then, after a slight disagreement over an issue, he will write a book against you. Thus,

throughout their lives, it was like this,

refuting and holding each other

accountable, although this methodology is not correct. If someone has a scholarly disagreement with someone

If that is the case, fine, but you absolutely cannot attack someone's intentions and heart.

By attacking them, what point are you trying to make? This is absolutely wrong.

Muhammad Ibrahim Shibani is from Kuwait, a very eminent scholar.

At one time, he also established

an institution called the Markaz al-Makhtutat wa al-Watha'iq.
