A minute of your time. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says, “There are two qualities, or

two practices, meaning deeds, that no Muslim servant

maintains without entering Paradise.”

Oof.

He says, “They are easy, meaning simple, yet

few people practice them.” The Companions asked, “What are they, Messenger of God? What are these two

deeds?” He said, “After every prayer, glorify God

ten times, praise God ten times, and magnify God

ten times.” They said, “All right, Messenger of God, what is the second deed?”

The second deed is, before sleeping, glorify God

thirty-three times, praise God thirty-three times,

and magnify God thirty-four times.” They said, “Messenger of

God, how are they easy, yet few people practice them? Meaning, they are simple.”

He, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Satan comes to one of you

in his sleep, when he is about to fall asleep.

‘Glory be to God, glory be to God, glory be to God, glory be to God,’ then he puts him to sleep.

He says, ‘Glory be to God,’ then falls asleep

before he can say them all. And Satan comes during his prayer

and reminds him of his need. There, as he is giving the salutation, ‘Peace be upon you and God’s mercy.

Peace be upon you and God’s mercy.’ ‘Glory be to God, glory be to God, glory be to God.’

Satan comes to him and reminds him of his need.

You have errands now. You need to go to such-and-such store and get the errands done and fill up with

gas. So you get up from your seat. You suddenly have a hundred things to do, when you had

nothing before he said it. So make sure to do

these two things. The Prophet says, “He entered Paradise.”

Paradise is precious, commit yourself to it. Try, and don’t let

the clip stop with you. Earn a reward through others. Share the clip so it may benefit others.
