Discussion on Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Solutions

Any solution is better than the current situation.

Two states, one state, a confederation. To me, anything is better than us controlling

another people and there being a siege and occupation.

I believe all solutions are possible. The reason

is that there is no solution, not because one solution isn't good and another...

No, because there is a

vast, enormous power imbalance between Israelis and Palestinians.

Israel has one of the world's largest, strongest armies, a nuclear power.

It controls the territory, it has intelligence everywhere

it is. Really, what do the Palestinians have? Really,

I mean, there is a huge,

huge, huge power imbalance. That's why Israel has no incentive

to reach a solution. I mean, Israelis talk, they joke at the

United Nations,

saying, "We don't wake up in the morning thinking about the conflict."

And that's true. Why think about the conflict? If you're strong, why make concessions?

So, in my opinion, there needs to be Palestinian and international struggle

too—not so that Palestinians can defeat us and kill us, no,

To close this power imbalance,

there should also be some pressure on Israel to find

a solution. And when there is that pressure,

I'd be happy with any solution, as long as there is a solution.
