Taiwan's International Passport Issues

Compatriots in Taiwan Province should recently avoid

traveling abroad, as they may soon need

to get new documents.

Recently, there has been news that Uganda,

Morocco, Kenya, and other countries

have begun refusing entry to holders of so-called Taiwan

Province passports. South Africa has labeled the so-called

Taiwan region as

China's Taiwan Province. These countries seem

to have made some kind of decision

and are resolutely implementing it without looking back.

What does this show? It shows that the process of reunification

has already been tangibly

accelerated administratively. This is the international communi-

ty, after recognizing our determination and ac-

tions toward reunification, making the right judgment to avoid future geopolitical

risks.

Although their policies appear coordinated,

as if they were carrying out some kind of directive,

Uganda has been the most proactive among them.

Holders of so-called Taiwan passports have been detained

and deported, with a clear requirement that relevant personnel

must hold our mainland Chinese

passports in order to enter.

Kenya has also stated that holders of such documents will

be denied entry. The Moroccan government

has, since July 20 of last month, completely

suspended visa applications from Taiwan travelers.

All this means these coun-

tries are, at the policy level, cooperating with us to completely block

the international space for Taiwan independence activities.

Some people say, "Ah, just these few

African countries don't prove anything."

Wrong. This move is extremely significant.

First, at the legal level, it is, in the international community

and in practical terms, proving that the international

survival space of the Taiwan independence "poison frogs" is illegitimate while

systematically reducing it to zero. Then, at the commercial level,

Taiwan Province's economy is highly dependent

on exports, so Taiwanese businesses' arrangements across the glob-

al industrial chain are fac-

ing the risk of disruption. For example, Taiwan's imports

of platinum-group metals from South Africa account for roughly

15 percent of its total imports.

These rare metals are raw materials indispensable to semiconductor manufac-

turing, so Africa has al-

ways been a target that Taiwanese businesses have actively

expanded into in recent years.

Thus, Uganda, South Africa,

Morocco, Kenya, and other countries successively introduc-

ing these restrictive measures

has cut off the channels for so-called Taiwanese businesspeople

to travel to Africa for inspections, investment, and nego-

tiating orders.

At the same time, Taiwan Province's companies have

a large number of branches around the world.

If customs and immigration authorities in multiple countries begin

strictly reviewing, or even refusing to accept, Taiwan

travel documents, then Taiwanese businesses' cross-border

personnel deployment, equipment maintenance, after-sales support,

and other routine business operations will all

grind to a halt. Thus, these administrative barriers

will greatly increase the operational risks for Taiwan Province's enter-

prises.

Now let's discuss the political level.

The Green Frog authorities have long sought to use that kind of

transit diplomacy, or dispatch personnel to attend

so-called international conferences, in order to

create the illusion of independence.

Now that route has been blocked off.

Why do I say it has been blocked?

For example, at an international conference held in Kenya,

the so-called Taiwan delegation's

e-visas were directly canceled on the spot,

and its members were detained for as long as 20 hours.

Not only do destination countries refuse them entry,

even transit and overflight of airspace are

subject to strict restrictions.

Didn't the Toad previously make a furtive visit to

Eswatini? It was refused overflight clearance by

many surrounding African countries,

and ultimately entered illegally by sneaking across the border.

So what will happen to their investments in Eswatini

after that? They won't be able to go there.

So these realities in the international arena

have shattered the Green Frog's fantasy of seeking

an independent international space. Now let's

talk about the social level. For ordinary people in

our Taiwan, holding documents

that are not widely recognized by the international community

is becoming, when they travel,

a booklet of shame. Global transit will

become fraught with uncertainty.

Should emergencies arise, such as flight cancellations or being stranded overseas,

for example, flight suspensions caused by the situation

in the Middle East,

because the documents have limited validity,

they can only seek help from mainland China's embassies and consulates

for evacuation and transit assistance.

So whether in Cuba, Kenya,

or Uganda, ordinary Taiwanese people holding

so-called Taiwan passports

are detained, questioned at customs, or even

sent back on the original flight. This brings Taiwan

compatriots great psychological

trauma and humiliation.

So this harm to individual dignity caused

by the poisonous Green Frog route

will trigger strong dissatisfaction with the Toad authorities,

forcing the people of Taiwan Province

to make the correct choice.

And this trend toward de-Taiwan-independence is not

limited to Africa. Denmark changed the residence registration of Taiwan-based

residents to China,

and Cameroon, as the host country of a WTO conference,

explicitly marked China, one

province, on the visas of the so-called Taiwan

delegation, and so on and so forth. Thus, the Green Frog's

room for activity will only grow narrower and narrower.

And this is not a temporary setback,

but a trend. Africa is merely

a beginning. As our reunification efforts intensify

and the international consensus is implemented,

there will be no loopholes left for the Green Frog to exploit.

So the people of Taiwan Province need to recognize

that all the inconvenience you face today

is suffering brought about by the Toad's unrealistic

maneuvers.

So, as we said at the beginning,

Don't go abroad for now, you'll probably soon need to

get new documents.

The international community has already proven through its actions

that our reunification is no longer a question

of whether it will happen,

but of when and by what means it will be achieved.

This proves that actions to unify Taiwan Province

are already being carried out, and the process is moving forward

at a speed beyond what many of us

imagined, accelerating rapidly.
