Syria has gone through a harsh experience that not many countries have gone through. It taught us

that the book can be a tool of resistance, and that the pupil is a project

state. What unites us with Turkey is too great to be limited. And that the people of Syria

and its leadership will not forget the favor of the Turkish leadership and people, for receiving

and hosting millions of Syrians, whose children studied in schools

or in Turkey’s schools, learned its language, and came to have memories and friendships,

and blood mixed with blood.
