With the world's attention on the Middle East,

Putin's illegal war in Ukraine has dropped from the headlines.

But British support for Ukraine continues.

I'm in a shed in a forest in Western Ukraine,

where British companies are supporting our Ukrainian friends to stay in the fight

by refitting and refurbishing the platforms that we've donated to them.

Behind me is the British AS90 tracked artillery system.

In the corner of this shed is the Swedish Archer system.

Britain and Sweden have donated these platforms to our friends in Ukraine

so they can defend their country.

But keeping those platforms working is important to make sure they stay in the fight.

I've seen the condition that they're coming back off the front line

and the work of Ukrainian and British engineers to get them repaired

and get them back in the fight.

When we said we would stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes,

it's precisely this type of support that we mean.
