Iran's New Diplomatic Stance

We are no longer going back to past diplomacy.

We are not going back to the Islamabad situation or anything before that.

That was an era, a form of diplomacy

Iran had. The diplomacy we have just begun is completely different from

the past. We will make America

earn the Iranian people's trust.

We will no longer move forward with America the way we did in the past.

We tell America it must act first.

Enough talk, enough negotiation.

Now, now it has to act. The Americans had been waiting,

for a month, a little over a month, to see

what Iran would finally say?

The Pakistanis came and asked, "What are your conditions?"

The Qataris came and asked, "What are your conditions?" The Omanis came recently.

The Iraqis came. The Iraqis came and asked, "What are your conditions?"

We say, "Who told you?" He says, "The Americans told us that

we d-don't want to fight. We want to negotiate."

Why won't Iran talk to us? Why doesn't Iran state its conditions? Almost two,

or adding a new one. None of that is being raised.

It is about communicating Iran’s conditions,

and we are waiting for the Americans to comply with them.

Therefore, until Iran’s conditions are met, neither the Strait of

Hormuz will be opened nor will there be

any negotiations
