I believe that we always have a chance.

But whatever happens,

it is very important to understand

that today in our country there is no Minister of Defense,

today there are acting officials.

What does this mean legally?

Legally, it means that the deputy becomes the acting official,

performs the duties, and is not a member of the government,

He, of course, attends the meetings as an administrator,

but he cannot vote on government decisions.

This can be a temporary phenomenon, and it is understandable

that this is the current context,

but this cannot go on for long,

so it is very important

for parliament, once it returns from recess—

which is a separate story, having such a long recess—

but when parliament returns from recess,

it must make a decision and vote for the Minister of Defense,

because decisions need to be made,

and we need to meet with partners.

Every day, there are dozens, hundreds of different decisions,

and the Minister of Defense must do this.

Therefore, it is very important

for this entire process to have a certain deadline,

for this to happen,

and for Ukraine, which is at war, to finally have a Minister of Defense.

And when is our parliament supposed to return from recess?

Well, according to the schedule, it looks like August 17–18.
