Political Analysis of Palestinian Resistance

Israel entered the village of Silwad and tried to shatter

the image of the hero Ibrahim Hamed by publishing photos of him shackled in

his cell after arresting and mistreating his family.

Ibrahim Hamed, the commander of the resistance in the West Bank, is one of the finest

Palestinian political minds and has been sentenced to life

45 times. He has many stories

from his interrogations and his cell about his heroism and endurance during

interrogation, to the point that he refused to give

his name. What I want to discuss today is Ibrahim

Hamed's

extraordinary political mind, as he published a political article

full of political eloquence shortly before Al-Aqsa Flood

in the autumn of 2023,

giving it a simple title that called for

commitment to a project. The article's title was In

Restoring Palestinian liberation to prominence. The article was a

call to review the previous period since Oslo and the first and second intifadas

and others, and to adhere to one goal

only: confronting the Israeli enemy until

its elimination and the liberation of Palestine as the foremost goal

for this region, with the Palestinians at its heart.

This brilliant political mind, the Resistance fought desperately

to secure his release in previous deals, but

he was among those Israel barred even

from being discussed in negotiations, along with several

other prisoners, such as Abdullah al-Baroudi and Hassan Salameh

and others, including Ahmed Saadat and Marwan Barghouti.
