Flick and Mourinho's Press Conference Dynamics

Welcome. Today I want to discuss Flick and Mourinho.

Real started the season with a win at Espanyol,

and Barcelona will start today at the Martínez Valero against

Elche.

Yesterday at the press conference,

Hansi Flick sent a clear message:

"This season, I won't enter

into a war of words with José Mourinho."

You can't imagine Flick's face when answering

yesterday's question about Real Madrid. He was asked about Real Madrid, about José

Mourinho, and immediately asked, "Are we playing against Real Madrid?

Then ask me about Elche." Mourinho so far hasn't

shifted into top gear.

As long as he's winning, there won't be much noise.

He spoke about the Negreira case because, uh…

he was expected to state his stance to the Real

Madrid fans. To win over Real Madrid fans before the season,

because Real

fans are convinced by him off the pitch, regardless of

what happens on the pitch. But Hansi

Flick, in every match, will try to

deflect all questions about Real Madrid.

He knows that the war of words will be extremely exhausting,

and that the biggest loser might be Barcelona

and Hansi Flick. So yesterday's answer

was very decisive, as if it were

a message

for the entire season. I mean, I even noticed the journalist at the press

conference was surprised by the answer, so I told him, "This isn't for you.

It is a message to the world so everyone knows that

Flick will only focus on his team, on his goals,

on what he can achieve with Barcelona this season."
