Gas Production Recovery After Attack

We reached the twenty-seventh of Esfand. On the twenty-seventh of Esfand, well,

that tragic incident occurred, and the wicked enemy struck

our gas refineries, refineries three through six in

Asaluyeh. In the first few minutes

when this report actually reached me, perhaps 20

minutes or half an hour later, I was somehow able to convey this message to the President.

I had not yet seen him in person during that

interval.

Well, we were very concerned about what the situation would be like.

In those initial hours, we had to reduce

a significant part of production. But fortunately, with

the specialized and technical expertise our colleagues had

at the National Iranian Gas Company and the National Iranian Oil Company, they were able to

restore some parts very quickly, within a few hours.

Today, as we speak, a significant

portion of the lost capacity, we have been able to restore production from it,

and this process is still continuing.

I can say that approximately one, two, three days after
