The mayonnaise is now completely plant-based.
They have been testing that for a very long time.
Since last fall, I think, at Smulpap they already only had plant-based.
Apparently that test was successful.
So now they have rolled it out across the entire park.
And we also have different Mexicanos and these are halal.
I have to say, I tried them briefly.
I first went to Smulpap.
Only then I saw here at Station de Oost that they looked very different.
But I do not taste any difference at all.
Maybe they are the same Mexicanos.
But even then I hardly taste any difference from the Mexicanos I normally eat.
I might find them a bit tastier and maybe with a slightly less intense aftertaste…
than what I normally have, at least.
But that could also be because of my Mexicanos.
All in all, I actually just think it is an improvement.
It is just that apparently halal is not very animal-friendly.
So that is maybe a bit of a shame.
But anyway, you also just have to make choices.
