In the western Zaporizhzhia sector, the situation

continues to deteriorate for the Russian side.

Ukrainian formations are not giving up their attempts to counterattack

on the Stepnohorsk and Pavlivka line and are gradually

shifting the frontline back toward Kamenske.

There are already reports of small-arms battles directly

between these two populated areas.

The enemy is steadily pushing through the defenses of the Russian

units that themselves were advancing here as recently

as last year.

All the more so, the Russian side now risks losing

all the progress it had made in advancing toward Zaporizhzhia.

A significant factor is the superiority of the Ukrainian

formations in drones and trained operators

in this sector, and the redeployment of fresh forces indicates

an intention to continue and ramp up the pressure.

System strikes on Russian air defense assets

and energy facilities continue.

Drone attacks on transport convoys have also become

more frequent already in the Melitopol area.

All this points to more large-scale plans than just

an attempt to push Russian forces back from the Konka River.
