Yemen Conflict and Civilian Casualties

announced by the leader of the Ansar Allah group. It is blockade for blockade,

our airports for their airports, our ports for their ports.

And certainly, there will be civilian casualties, for

example, as Saudi Arabia announced regarding what happened at Riyadh Airport.

And the reason behind that, sister, is that Saudi Arabia

had received many warnings before Yemen carried out any attacks on the airport.

A warning to international companies to stop using Saudi

airspace or to stop air traffic in Saudi airspace, as well as a warning that airports would

be targeted. Therefore, who bears responsibility if there are any victims?

It is Saudi Arabia that continues to use those airports despite being unable to

repel the attacks

and bombardment coming from Yemen. As for my dear

sister, another important point is who started the war, and Yemen is now at

war with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia cannot maintain its blockade, targeting,

and war against Yemen, which it declared in 2015, without there being

any Yemeni response. Yemen has the right to respond in kind, but

the difference is that Yemen always warns that it will target, for example,

airports before targeting them, and Aramco before any attack,

even before targeting any ship. When they imposed the blockade after Saudi Arabia

breached the truce and targeted Sana'a Airport, Yemen announced that it would

target Saudi ships, and it warns any ship even before it is

targeted.

But does that mean that even if you warned, or if

Ansar Allah, the Houthis, had warned before

taking action

Or carrying out these operations, does that mean justifying such

operations that cause more civilian deaths and target

civilian interests? Mr. Al-Bukhaiti.

There is no justification for any civilian deaths. But

as I said, Saudi Arabia alone is responsible.

Since the beginning of the ceasefire violation and the targeting of Sana'a Airport in mid-

July, Saudi Arabia has

launched more than two thousand, nearly two thousand airstrikes and killed

sixty-seven civilians, ninety-seven Yemeni civilians, many of them women

and children, in addition to 180 wounded, and targeted bridges

and telecommunications companies. This, my dear sister, is Saudi

criminality that has continued since 2015.

What about Yemeni civilians? Yemen, I mean, if Saudi Arabia

wants to stop all this, it must keep its hands off

Yemen and stop all support for any groups and militias

in Yemen. But for them to lament that there are civilian deaths,

despite

Yemen has warned that if it cannot defend itself and

defend its airports, why allow their continued use? And Saudi Arabia

has destroyed Yemen's airports and also

all its ports, targeting its infrastructure.

Today, one of the popular markets in the Shu'ub area was targeted,

one of Yemen's most crowded areas. Therefore, Saudi Arabia will be repaid

twofold. Yemen also warned today that there will be broader operations,

and airlines should not use Saudi airspace.

One final point, my dear sister, even power stations could also be included

in the list of targets if Saudi Arabia continues

its operations in Yemen and does not stop intervening in Yemen.
