Iran's Stance on Strait of Hormuz Security

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The baseless claims

by the United States that vessels are passing normally through the Strait of Hormuz

which demonstrate the desperation and helplessness of that country's army,

are nothing but falsehoods and lies. It is hereby declared that the Strait of Hormuz

as in the past, remains under the complete management and control

of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and no commercial ship or

oil tanker can pass safely through this strait without the authorization and supervision of

Iran's powerful armed forces

and never will. The leaders and army of

terrorist America have, from the past until now, witnessed the power and

steadfastness of the nation and the courageous sons of the people in the

powerful armed forces of Iran firsthand.

America is constantly seeking mischief and insecurity in the

region, and its threats, without backing or basis,

will yield nothing but greater misery and helplessness for that country in the face of the comprehensive preparations and

more extensive than ever of the heroic warriors of Islam in the armed forces,

and will have no result except greater misery and helplessness for

The Islamic Republic is closely monitoring all the movements of the American and Zionist enemies

in the region and, under the wise and astute command of

the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,

His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei,

may his exalted shadow endure, in realizing the rights of the nation,

national sovereignty, and defending the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and

our beloved country, Iran, have not had the slightest doubt

and will not have any, and will respond to any threat, of any kind

and at any level, with a more crushing and severe response than before
