Analysis of BJP's Delimitation Bill

Before you change the BJP in 2029, they are going to change the Constitution in 2026.

Because you might remember that their plan was to change the seats from 543 to 850.

In the name of women's reservation, that bill could not be passed.

Because to pass this, they needed the votes of at least 352 people out of 543.

But how many seats does the NDA have? 298.

Because of failing to achieve this number, for the first time in 12 years, the BJP...

...could not get its Delimitation Bill passed.

You all know what the Delimitation Bill was.

That having representatives based on population is what delimitation is.

For example, if there was one MP for 100,000 people a few years ago,

if the population there has grown to 400,000,

then the number of MPs there should also be four.

But the opposition opposes this.

Because the population is unevenly distributed between the North and the South.

Meaning, in the North, in states like Bihar and UP, it has increased by 20-25%,

whereas in the South, in places like Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, it has increased by 5% and 11%.

So this means when the seats increase from 543 to 850,

most of the seats will increase in the North, and BJP has a stronghold in the North.

So BJP will always remain in the majority.

But you must have seen that this bill failed in April.

You will see many people being absent and some people making up this number.

Through this, BJP will succeed in passing this bill.

That now, the Lok Sabha seats will not be 553 but 850.

In which, in the North alone, the current distribution of 220 and 120...

the South will increase from 120 to a maximum of 175,

and this 220 will increase to 400.

To win, only 426 is needed.

BJP can remain in power forever by always staying in the majority,

if this bill gets passed.
