distinguished participants, esteemed partners and dear young people. Today we are gathered here not only to discuss an environmental issue but also to reflect on the responsibility and potential of an entire generation. The world is changing rapidly, the climate crisis, the depletion of resources and particularly waste management are no longer just technical issues, they have become social
economic and human challenges. And at this point our greatest strength is undoubtedly young people, because youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow, they are the solution makers of today. What we see clearly both through data and field experience is that young people across the world are developing highly creative ideas in zero waste and circular economy. However many of these
ideas remain at the concept stage due to the lack of structured support mechanism needed for implementation. This is exactly why we aim to transform the zero waste approach from a policy framework into a true youth movement. In this context under the umbrella of the zero waste forum we are launching a new initiative. In the partnership with the Youth Diplomacy Association we are
establishing a new zero waste youth forum dedicated to empowering young people. This forum will not only bring youth together as participants but will position them as decision makers, designers and implementers. And we are taking this initiative even further to the global level. Within the framework of COP 31 in collaboration with the Youth Diplomacy Association I am pleased to
announce that we will organize an international youth forum aimed at strengthening the role of young people in a zero waste and climate action. This forum will enable youth to directly contribute to policy processes, connect their innovative project with global stakeholders and most importantly help transform their ideas into tangible impact. At the same time we are building
not only a platform for dialogue but also a mechanism for action. Through the Zero Waste Youth Academy and incubation program we will provide training to hundreds of young people, offer technical support to dozens of projects and deliver financial mentorship support to selected initiatives enabling them to be implemented on the ground. At the end of this journey the youth-led initiatives
will be showcased on the global stage at COP 31 because we strongly believe that if we provide young people with the right tools, the right environment and the right trust we will not only reduce waste we will also build a new economic model, a new culture of living and a more just future. The step we are taking today is in fact the beginning of a much greater transformation. A transformation
where zero waste becomes not just a habit but a way of life and where young people shape not only the future but also the present. Together with the energy determination and creativity of youth I believe we can build a cleaner more sustainable and more just future. Thank you.
