Analysis of Israeli Educational Curriculum

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. How are our enemy's curricula designed?

Their school history books focused on deepening

Zionist values, nurturing myths, and glorifying

their heroes while melting immigrants into

the crucible of a single collective memory. The books sought to demonize

Arabs and strip them of their humanity, reinforcing

a stereotype among all students that

portrayed them as civilized and as peacemakers in contrast to

Arabs as treacherous, aggressive, backward, criminals,

kidnappers, filthy, always initiating

destruction. Many researchers of Jewish origin

said they had gone too far in teaching history in this

way. Professor Daniel Bartli of Tel Aviv University

believes

that Israeli school curricula give Jewish children a perception of

Arabs, such that the Arab remains in

their perception a term associated with every

negative and evil attribute. Misleading curricula in which

students study history and geography books claiming that Palestine is

a Jewish Zionist land for Jews alone, and Arabs have no right to it.

A Haaretz report speaks of a tsunami of

hatred that is drowning Israel through its curricula.

The Ministry of Education has also published

a program titled "The Other Is Me." The Ministry's budgets

speak of funding Israeli culture,

heritage subjects, Jewish philosophy, renewal activities

of Judaism, and their prevailing view is that Arabs are Amalekites, and there is

a commandment to kill them all. Conversely, how

do you see our curricula, in their new structure,
