Investigation into Military Incident

Yes, I will say this carefully,

because the IDF is still investigating this difficult incident

and it has not yet been concluded, and there are still many unclear details,

but the assessment has been growing over the past day in the military investigations being conducted into the difficult incident from Friday,

that Major Yuval Ezra was not killed by terrorists' fire,

but rather by friendly fire.

There were other people who fired at this scene, including civilians,

also members of the rapid response teams, also a small IDF force,

There was a lot of chaos, and they still do not know how to determine with certainty,

but in any case, they are no longer ruling out the possibility that he was killed by friendly fire,

And as mentioned, this investigation is still ongoing.

The IDF says, "The IDF shares the grief of the bereaved families and will continue to support them."

The details of the attack and the incident are being thoroughly investigated by the IDF, and the findings will be presented transparently to the bereaved families.

And one more matter from just the last hour,

A worthy gesture by residents of Havat Gilad, representatives from Havat Gilad,

arrived at the funeral of Major Yuval Ezra and placed a wreath there on behalf of the residents of Havat Gilad.

These are the images we're seeing on the screen right now.
