Iran-Pakistan Diplomatic Meeting

President Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran, honorable members of

the Iranian delegation, honorable members of the Pakistani delegation, ladies and gentlemen,

Assalamu Alaikum, my respected brother, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the high-level delegation of Iran,

and members of the high-level delegation of Pakistan, ladies and gentlemen, Assalamu Alaikum.

My humble comments with this Persian couplet.

A true friend is one who, in times of trouble, takes the hand of his afflicted companion.

Otherwise, in days of joy and happiness, friends are plenty, but true friendship is rare.
