Concerns Over PFAS Production in India

A story is unfolding in India where poison is being placed above the law.

In the Italian city of Vicenza,

there was a company called Miteni. PFAS was manufactured here,

which the world calls" forever chemicals".

Because it never degrades— not in the body, not in water, not in the soil.

According to safety standards, its limit in the human body is just eight nanograms.

But in the bodies of the people working in that factory, up to 91,900 nanograms of

PFAS was found. Imagine, 90,000 instead of eight. This single poison made

350,000 people sick.

Italy woke up, the factory there was shut down,

and those responsible went to jail.

The story shouldn't have ended here,

but this is where the real story begins. The factory was shut down,

but its machinery went up for auction.

And those machines were bought by just one name, Wow Life Science,

and this company is linked to Laxmi Organics. Now, the same machines,

the same technology,

and the same poison are being set up in Ratnagiri. And the scariest part is,

the company is openly saying,"

Yes, we will manufacture the same PFAS as Italy."

The chemical that was banned in Europe after making 350,000 people sick,

will now be legally manufactured in India. Why? Because there is no law

to regulate PFAS in India.

Meaning, making poison here is not a crime,

and selling poison here isn't a crime either. Drinking poison here is our fate.

There is only one question: Is our life so cheap? If you remain silent today,

tomorrow this same poison will be in your water, your food, and your blood.
