fourteen hundred years and more of its history,

for less than one hundred years of that,

the pure Islam from which the scent of the Prophet could be perceived,

was prevalent in it. For more than thirteen

centuries of Islam,

it was the Islam of the Umayyads, the Islam of the Abbasids, the Islam of

the Ottomans,

that, over a long history of three hundred years, five hundred years,

seven hundred years, ruled over the Islamic world. All these deviations that

arose in the world of Islam were the result of those

corrupt, tyrannical governments that ruled in the name of Islam.
