The Abadan Law Enforcement Command also announced the arrest of

some of the main perpetrators and ringleaders of the riots. I chanted slogans and

messed with trash cans and…

I got carried away,

I was fooled,

fooled by social media and all that stuff and…

we rioted, we set trash cans on fire,

we threw rocks at the officers.

Damaging people’s

property and

rioting is not right,

and I am also regretful for what I did.

Do not go along with the rioters.

All of us are struggling with high prices,

but we have never supported riots and we are absolutely remorseful about what we

did in the city,

and we hope these events will never be repeated.

Do not be fooled by social media like channels of Iran International, Manoto,

or those overseas interviews.

Rioting is not a good thing,

we must not damage people’s property.

The national Law Enforcement Command and the Judiciary have announced that there

will be no leniency toward those who disturb public order and security.
