Celebrating European Championship Victory

Mr. President, first of all—

There’s no injury or anything left, right?

No, thank God, I’m fine. Especially, uh, after the medal and trophy, I’m much

much better. Thank you.

Uh, first of all, for hosting us here,

for your congratulations and for sharing this, uh, success and pride

with us, on behalf of the team, I’d like to thank you very much.

Uh, becoming European champions twice in a row and achieving this

in our own country, in front of our own fans

is truly something that is very difficult for all of us to describe, uh,

happiness and pride. Uh, when we wear this jersey, this

crescent-and-star jersey, uh, our country, Türkiye,

we strive to represent in the best possible way on Europe’s biggest stages.

And while doing this, we act with the awareness and

responsibility

that it entails. I think one of the most beautiful aspects

of this success is the new

I believe it will encourage future generations to take up sports.

Because sports don't just, um, support children's, um,

physical development, they also give them discipline, self-confidence,

help them believe in themselves and, um, when they lose, get back on

their feet and continue that struggle once again.

Alongside the successes we have achieved, I think, um,

being able to show younger generations that they should dream, struggle,

and what they can achieve as long as they work is, I think,

very valuable to us alongside these trophies as well.

At the same time, being hosted here and seeing this recognition at the highest

level of the state is truly very precious to us.
