Yemen Conflict and Houthi Threats

Dad, why do we always

hear about Yemen?

And who are the Houthis?

Yemen is our dear neighbor,

and its people are our

family and brothers.

The Houthis are an armed militia

that promised Yemenis peace.

Then they betrayed them and

seized Sana'a by force in 2014.

They began shelling people's homes in cities,

even the president's palace

in Aden wasn't spared

from them. So Yemen's legitimate

government called for help.

And the Kingdom did not

hold back. It stood by its brothers and

launched Operation Decisive Storm.

Our army's heroes strike militia

military sites and still

destroy their missile launchers.

The Houthis also fired missiles and drones

at our cities, airports, and energy facilities.

But our air defense heroes are lying in wait for them.

Radar spots them from afar,

and they fire missiles that

catch up to and destroy them

in the sky before they arrive.

The Houthis weren't satisfied

with that and fired missiles

toward the Mecca region

and the Medina region,

and our heroes intercepted them.

God protected the Two Holy Mosques.

They threatened ships in Bab al- Mandab,

the passage through which approximately a ship

One out of every ten ships

worldwide carries food,

medicine, and fuel.

So ships took a longer route,

and goods were delayed getting to people.

Their prices went up. Recently, the Houthis attacked King

Khalid Airport in Riyadh more than once,

and there were travelers

and Umrah pilgrims there.

In just one attack, 12 people died and

309 were injured.

May God have mercy on them and

protect our country and Yemen.

Amen. Yemen's security is our security.

We go to a safe place inside the house, away from the windows.

Today, the Yemeni army is advancing

and attacking Houthi positions.

Coalition planes are supporting it

so that security can return to Yemen.
