Player's Reflection on National Team Performance

I want to tell you something brief. You know what it meant to me to wear the Argentine jersey

there is nothing greater that can happen to a player than representing their country, and I had that

luck. Look, I'm not going to lie, it wasn't the match we all expected. It was clear the team wasn't

at the level of the previous three, and that happens in football. That's how it is, there are better days, there are days

I experienced it many times, a thousand times perhaps, but well, we have to move forward. But from there to the

things I'm seeing circulate on social media, there is a huge difference. A team that drops

its level in a match is not the same as a team that doesn't compete, and those rumors going

around out there without any proof don't do anyone any good, so I ask you this for

if we want to be demanding of the team, let's be demanding as is proper, but

let's not echo whatever circulates without foundation, this jersey is

respected through thick and thin, so let's go, forever Argentina
