We got off to a good start in the first half and scored a goal, so it went exactly as we wanted, but

we conceded a goal at the start of the second half, and I think that allowed the opponent to play with momentum.

You've spent four years preparing in various ways, and I'm sure there was a lot of pressure.

Once again, what kind of tournament was this World Cup stage for you, Ito?

We worked hard for four years to win here, and our minimum goal was to get past this stage and go one step further, but

I'm really disappointed that we couldn't achieve that.

With the group stage and everything, even I was starting to think that you might actually win the tournament, but

given today's defeat, what do you think was missing to see that ultimate view?

Well, first of all, individual strength, and I think our individual strength is still not enough.

After scoring a goal, the start of the second half is a time when we really have to concentrate, and

conceding a goal in a moment like that is really a shame.

I'm sure many supporters are watching on the other side of the camera.

What kind of words would you like to say to them?

I want to say thank you so much for supporting us and fighting alongside us, and

I feel truly sorry that we couldn't get the result.
