Hahaha, my fate is mine, not others’

At the brink of life and death, the hare springs up like lightning

Then turns and desperately sprints toward the depths of the field

And so, across the vast expanse of farmland

A life-or-death chase between hounds and hare

Quietly begins

On one side is the hound, eager to end the fight quickly

And hurry back to its master to claim credit

On the other side is the hare, giving everything it has to break free

So it can reunite with its wife and children at home

So this is destined to be a tug-of-war

And even more, a contest of speed and endurance

The two hounds push their speed to the limit

While the hare, shrouded in the shadow of death

Has its unprecedented potential fully unleashed in desperation

It keeps changing its running direction

Dodging left and right like a nimble bolt of lightning

As one of the weakest species in nature

The hare has long mastered superb escape skills

Several times, right under the hounds’ noses

At the very instant their jaws are about to touch its fur

It manages to get away with its extreme reflexes

But the hounds’ strength is not to be underestimated either

A sighthound’s top speed can reach 70 kilometers per hour

In a straight-line sprint

The hare has no advantage at all

With no other choice

The hare can only rely on its own small and agile body

To keep making sharp turns and changes of direction

Trying to throw off the hounds’ rhythm

But the two hounds are clearly well trained

And work together with great coordination

One on the left, one on the right

Silently pinning the hare in the middle

Bit by bit shrinking its escape space

On yet another sharp turn

Its hind legs are almost caught by the hounds’ sharp teeth

But when it prepares to turn again and break through

Because it is overly nervous

It runs headfirst into the oncoming hound

It has a narrow escape from disaster

Yet just as the hare is gradually widening the gap

The hounds suddenly burst forward

And quickly close in on its figure

Fortunately, the hare’s control of its speed is even more precise

The hare tries to use slowing down to shake off the hounds

But there is still another hound behind it

So the hare decisively makes a sharp turn

Only to run into yet another hound

It turns out the distant hunter, seeing the long chase go nowhere

Has released a third hound to join the fight

That is really totally against the spirit of fair combat

Since it has no advantage in straight-line running

The hare simply gives up trying to match speed head-on

And once more relies on its agility to tangle with the hounds

With another sudden, unexpected turn

It again opens up some distance from the hounds

If it were a one-on-one contest

With agility alone

The hare could toy with a hound in the palm of its hand

But there has never been such a thing as fairness in this world

Faced with three hounds surrounding and cutting it off

The hare has no room for error at all

Only by using every ounce of its ability

Can it gain the slightest chance of survival

The hare freely switches between slowing down and speeding up

This ever-changing rhythm

So the hounds have no way to anticipate its next move

and can only follow closely behind,

unable to find a chance to strike for a long time.

This chase can truly be called a brilliant life-and-death duel.

But by now the hare is about to reach its limit.

After sprinting at high speed for such a long time,

it has almost completely exhausted its strength.

Yet it has no other choice.

In order to see its wife and children at home again.

The hare can only grit its teeth and endure

At this moment, the hare has pushed its movement to the limit

It is like nimble lightning

Darting back and forth between the three hounds

Constantly changing direction

Again and again dodging the hounds’ attacks

But if it keeps exhausting itself like this

The hare will definitely die

Because the spirit hounds are truly the kings of stamina among dogs

And out here in this open field

the hare has nowhere to hide

Its only option is to burst through the fence

if it wants any chance to truly shake off the hounds

Before they even realize it

both sides reach their physical limit

Their bodies and minds are on the verge of collapse

yet neither of them chooses to back down

Even trapped in a desperate situation

this hare never once submits

It never gives up

Deep in its bones is a toughness that faces death to live

Just as the hounds close in

at the critical moment before it is caught

it uses the very last of its strength

and forces its way through the fence

escaping with its life in the end
