Lessons from Ekalavya's Story

A hunting dog has a certain characteristic.

That's how the dog saw Ekalavya. " Why does he look so strange?

He is wearing animal skin around his waist." It felt strange to the dog.

Feeling so, it barked," Bow, wow!"

Out of anger that the dog barked at him, he shot six arrows like this,

and six arrows like this, into the dog's mouth.

Anyone would shoot like this, going like this and like this, going like this

and like this.

He shot six arrows into the dog's lower jaw and six arrows into its upper jaw.

He shot them so the dog's mouth wouldn't close and it couldn't bark.

The dog came panting, and Dronacharya saw it.

An unworthy person has acquired archery somewhere.

Unable to tolerate a dog barking, which is its nature, he shot six arrows up and six

arrows down. Knowledge has been acquired by someone without culture.

If this knowledge is in his hands, he will ruin anyone with his arrogance.

He thought," He shouldn't have this knowledge." He went searching and asked," Where

did you get this knowledge?" He replied," I learned it by placing your statue."

He didn't approve just because he learned from his statue.

He said," Give me your thumb." Why?

The Guru calculated that he would definitely go down the wrong path.
