The goal of the occupation

forces in their war on Gaza is to terrorize the Palestinians and terrorize

anyone who watches the slaughter of the Palestinians. In early February,

four young men hurry along, searching for their homes, if they are still standing.

This is the Sikka area in Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip,

which has witnessed Israeli bombardment and military operations since the start of

the incursion into the southern governorate in early December.

The images that Al Jazeera obtained from an Israeli drone show the young men

walking among the rubble left behind by the occupation’s planes and shells,

and on a road its vehicles have churned up with bulldozers.

civilians from the air.

Al Jazeera obtained these images from an Israeli drone from a fleet that has been

hovering over Gaza since before the seventh of October.

And it is clear from the images that these Palestinians are not

carrying weapons and do

not pose a threat to anything or anyone. A missile targets the young men,

and two of them are martyred.

The images cannot be shown in full after the fall of the first missile because of

how horrific they are. Two of them are martyred,

and in the images one of the young men appears moving away from where the

missile fell. Returning to the site,

the images show that one of the young men is moving.

All this while the drone has not left the place.

All this while the drone and whoever operates it, and whoever receives

the images it captures in the occupation air force command center, can clearly

see that the young men are not carrying weapons. The drone remains in place.

It comes back to them.

The occupation forces do not miss their targets, and their target in this war

is civilians. It comes back and opens fire again. It is the perfect crime,

or it almost was, were it not for these images.

The drone killed the four young men,

and it barely left a trace of them after their bodies were turned into pieces.

Perhaps someone is looking for them, a mother or a father, siblings and neighbors,

perhaps children and a wife. Those who fired the missiles know that they are gone,

and now anyone watching these images knows that Israel killed them.

They were civilians They look for their homes,

and what is left of the memory of what was before the annihilation carried out by

the occupation forces.

They stay alive for minutes before the launch of the first missile,

on the killer’s footage strip, and he failed to kill the evidence of his crime.
