Hezbollah continues to use the civilian population as human shields.

In recent weeks,

during the activity of Israel Defense Forces troops in southern Lebanon,

terrorist infrastructure repeatedly has been exposed, planted inside civilian areas

and environments.

As part of the efforts to remove threats from south of the defensive line,

in recent days more than 50 terrorist infrastructures have been destroyed,

including an underground compound used for terrorist activities against Israel.

During a specific operation in the Adshit al- Qusayr area, an additional

example of this

pattern of behavior was uncovered.

A weapons cache was found inside a children’s room containing explosive devices,

Kalashnikov rifles, RPG shells, hand grenades, and ammunition inside a place that is

supposed to be safe for children.

These facts indicate that Hezbollah operates from within civilian areas in Lebanon,

And exploits it

to carry out attacks against citizens of the State of Israel and the IDF forces.

The IDF will continue to act against these threats in accordance

with the directives of the political echelon.
