Yemeni Citizen's Protest Against Houthi Regime

Listen, Houthi, you liar, oppressor, corrupt man, you son of a

corrupt man. I swear by God, in whose hand is my soul, that I

want to die after just one minute. One minute.

I'm sane, sane. You've turned Yemen into

this sandal.

I swear by God, I will not stay silent, damn your father.

You are the biggest liar and the most corrupt person in the world.

I appeal to Yemen's free and honorable people.

Look, look at the women in garbage barrels, people of Yemen.

Look at those by the garbage barrels eating from

the garbage.

And this looting—every teacher who hears this

clip, every teacher whose rightful salary the Houthis took

away.

They have no right to take your salaries

at all. They have no right to make us their slaves.

We were created free. All the Yemeni people were created free.

Children of free people. The land of faith and wisdom. Then this

Houthi came and took us fifty years back.

I swear by God and God's greatness, I need not add

another word to this oath. By God, it fills the heavens and earth. And I am

afraid of no one but the Lord of the Mighty Throne, the Lord of the heavens and earth.

I swear by Almighty God, the Compassionate, the Merciful, that I left my home

while my children were asleep.

My children sleep hungry. My youngest son, every

day, wakes up hungry.

And I have been patient, enduring, and silent. And I said, “God is sufficient for us,

and He is the best disposer of affairs.” And I said, God said, “Give glad tidings to the patient.”

I endured. I endured until

my throat gave out. This throat can no longer stay silent.

For a month, I have been demanding my Umrah right from more than five or seven

rainstorms in Yemen.

I swear to God, I am dizzy from hunger right now. I swear

by Almighty God, I came out for all Yemenis.

I swear by Him in whose hand my soul is, I came out for the women in

the bins, in the garbage.

God is the best witness to my words. And I am not afraid of

any creature God created in this world. I will not excuse what I say.

No, I will not die. And whoever says I am a mercenary or worthless

Or because I left my homeland. I only left because of hunger.

I didn't leave. I only left because of hardship. I only left because of

the humiliation of my children and their hunger.

By Almighty God, I will not be silent, Abdul-Malik

al-Houthi. Kill me in 15 minutes. In

an hour. It's enough that I spoke the truth.

I'm a free man, an honorable man, and I know

By God, you're the greatest tyrant, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
