How is Israel preparing, militarily or otherwise, to deal with the threat posed by Turkey?

First of all, I do not belittle anyone who puts us on their list of enemies.

We learned something from Jewish history; I certainly don't need a lecture on this subject.

I treat threats seriously even when they're small and could grow into something large.

First, regarding the F-35, what I told you about Saudi Arabia — that it is not a country aligned with us, not even politically,

I have to say you should amplify that — on steroids — when it comes to our position on supplying the F-35 to Turkey.

And as I understand it, that possibility is very remote, if it exists at all.

Are you saying that seriously? So you mean the possibility is remote?

In my assessment it is remote, yes. If it exists at all.

But it is remote. In any case, our position is blunt — I said it in the clearest terms,

This supply undermines the balance of power in the Middle East, threatens us,

and eliminates the relative qualitative advantage the U.S. is committed to preserving.

For all these and other reasons, I think this is neither imminent nor practical right now.
