so finally we are leaving Dubai yes you heard it here first we are leaving Dubai

in two or three days beautiful Dubai marina that I've called home for the

last year exactly in that tower about there ish and it's over today tomorrow

is our last days here now I hear you saying is it the war Matt is it because

you're scared Matt and the truth is we're going to Bali now we had Bali

booked I had Bali booked on a business trip before the war started so we are

leaving I'm taking Ollie and Cove with me we're going to Bali for a couple of

months and and then we're going to reevaluate but we will be back in Dubai I

know it's a bit clickbaity but we'll be back in Dubai the intention is not to

leave I'm going to get mowed down I love it Dubai

so yeah leaving for Bali for two months and then we're going to redeploy

somewhere presumably back here if I don't get killed by somebody on a

scooter these scooters are a real problem real problem especially on this

particular bridge scooters and bikes and that yeah we're gonna come back to Dubai

probably in a couple of months assuming all is well the plan is the economic

base is here this is our home this is what feels like home we're not leaving

we are staying but summer's coming and Bali was booked anyway so I booked us

all on and we're off to Bali see if we like it make that a second home we'll see
