Critique of Historical Role Models in Pakistan

Even if you take Malaysia, or Indonesia,

which are Muslim-majority countries,

they do not disown their Hindu ancestry, all right? But this

is the one thing found among Pakistanis, and

whom do they go and celebrate? Those invaders to whom they have no blood

relation and who came here and did things that

were not at all inspirational either. Meaning, you can see for yourself

kind of corruption, every kind of injustice is in your country.

Could that

be because the heroes or role models you have chosen

are not the right role models? In other words, you consider them role models only

because they were Muslims, even though their actions were not such that

they should be seen as inspirational. Could it be that the reason you consider them heroes

is why ordinary Pakistani people believe things they have merely heard,
