On the seventeenth day,

the IDF continues to operate in cooperation with the U.S.

Army within the framework of Operation Lion’s Roar,

with the aim of striking the Iranian terror regime and removing threats from the

State of Israel. We are operating according to an organized plan,

and after completing the phase of the surprising opening strikes,

we moved on to the next stage of the operation and are now deepening the strikes

against the regime’s foundations and its military capabilities.

The IDF possesses a wide target bank and we continue to identify new

targets constantly,

in accordance with up- to- date intelligence.

We will continue to operate until the operation’s objectives are

fully achieved and the security of the citizens of the State of Israel is ensured.

The achievements

of Operation Lion’s Roar are built on the achievements of Operation Rising Lion,

and we continue to deepen them constantly.

So far, significant achievements have been attained.

The IDF has achieved aerial superiority in the battle in only twenty- four hours.

As part of the strikes,

about 120 detection components were destroyed and about 100 air defense systems.

Across Iran, the IDF has targeted most surface- to- air missile launchers and

about 85% of the Iranian regime’s detection capabilities. Around 70% of

Iranian missile launchers have been put out of service. So far, more than 2,200

Iranian regime components have been destroyed.

We are working toward the complete destruction of the regime’s ability

to produce weaponry.

On the Iranian side there are clear signs of a severe blow,

thousands of dead from the Revolutionary Guard and regime forces,

tens of thousands wounded, declining morale,

and even cases of defection and refusal to obey orders.

Iran is the main party responsible for the threats in the Middle East and operates

many terrorist arms across the region.

In Lebanon, the Hezbollah terrorist organization has chosen to join the battle

against the State of Israel. Since the beginning of the fighting, the organization

has launched hundreds of rockets and missiles toward Israeli territory, some

of which carried heavy warheads. The regime continues

to The Iranian has paid a heavy price for his activities,

and every blow he takes is also felt in Lebanon and in the heart of Beirut.

This also affects Hezbollah in funding,

since the salaries of the organization’s members are paid by Iran,

and also in the supplies of weapons that come from Iran to

its arms in the Middle East.

The terrorist Hezbollah organization

has become significantly weaker after Operation Northern Arrows. In recent months,

enforcement efforts have also slowed the pace of its reconstruction, and its weapons

arsenal has shrunk by about 90 percent.

Hezbollah also received a severe blow during Operation Northern Arrows,

and villages along the front line were cleared. Nevertheless,

elements of the Radwan Force are still operating from other villages,

and we are working to push them away and eliminate them.

The Israel Defense Forces are acting forcefully against

Hezbollah and reinforcing the front line of defense. We continue to monitor what is

happening in all arenas and are preparing to deal with additional scenarios.

Other terrorist arms of Iran in the Middle East may try to join the fight, but

our message here is very clear:

whoever chooses to join the fight against Israel will pay a heavy price.
