History of the Kaaba's Covering

He revered the Holy Kaaba and clothed it in

luxurious garments woven in Yemen.

Thus, he was the first to cover the Kaaba. Come,

Tubba Abu Karib As'ad al-Himyari, known

as As'ad al-Kamil, was a Yemeni king who passed

through Mecca before Islam. He circumambulated

the House, revered it, and covered the Kaaba. Since

that day, Yemen’s name has been associated

with the kiswa.

The kiswa was brought from Yemen that day as an act of reverence.

Time passed, and pieces of it took another

path no Muslim could ever imagine. From

Mecca to the home of Jewish billionaire Jeffrey

Epstein, a rapist of minors. Documents from the

U.S. Department of Justice revealed that three pieces

of the kiswa left the Kingdom in

2017, coordinated by Saudi businesswoman

Aziza al-Ahmadi. These

pieces are distributed only through official

channels. So who approved

their shipment?

To this day, Riyadh has given nearly two billion Muslims

no answer about the route that brought pieces of the kiswa

to Epstein. It remained silent as the grave. Then it raised

its voice when it wanted to accuse Yemen of targeting

Mecca. But Yemenis don't

need anyone to lecture them on the sanctity of the Kaaba,

for their ancestors honored it when

others were outside history.
