Exclusive information and documents obtained by Iran International report the

occurrence of a horrifying catastrophe at Rajaei Heart Hospital in Tehran.

On the 8th of Dey, two nurses at Rajaei Hospital, because of treating protesters,

were arrested and were repeatedly subjected to severe torture and rape.

On the 8th of Dey, security forces entered Rajaei Hospital and,

after shooting some of the wounded,

ordered the medical staff to refrain from treating the injured.

Of about 30 staff members at this hospital,

almost half of them disobey this order, and at least

seven nurses continue providing treatment.

These seven are beaten and transferred to the lower floors of the hospital.

Security forces shoot and kill two of the nurses in front of their

colleagues’ eyes. Their bodies

are found a few days later in Kahrizak. Five other nurses are arrested, and two of

those nurses are subjected to rape during their detention. They are subjected to

torture and gang rape. In some cases,

foreign objects have been used for the rape.

Also, due to severe internal tears, the uterus of one of

the nurses was completely removed and another

nurse is also facing the possibility of having her uterus completely removed.
