Someone sent me an easy translation of the Gita, and when I started reading it,

doors began to open, windows began to open.

And the basic question in my mind was that Allah has created everyone. And Allah is

very merciful, very generous, very kind.

So then I would think that there is this kind one who says that whoever does not

recite the kalma,

I will burn them in the fire of hell. So I would think, man, I have children,

if one of these children does not obey me, can I burn them in fire?

So if I, as a human being, cannot do that,

how can the Merciful and Generous One do it? So in the Gita I found this answer,

that Allah says in the Quran that if you do not obey Me,

then I will burn you in the fire of hell. In the Gita,

Lord Krishna says to Arjuna that I have given you all the knowledge,

I have explained everything,

now it is up to you, believe it if you want, if you do not want to,

then do not believe it. In the same way, the Quran says that you will worship

only one Allah, and if you worship anyone else, then you will go to hell.

The Gita does not confine you anywhere,

that you must worship only Lord Krishna or Lord Ganpati.

All the emphasis is on karma, on making your actions good, Take care of humans,

animals, fruits, flowers, plants, everything And this is

exactly what today’s scientists say about the climate and all these things.

The Gita says eat soft, clean food, and these days

there is a lot of emphasis on bio food. So I started getting all these answers

from the Gita.

And then I was introduced to a beautiful religion in which

all festivals are inclusive.

That you can celebrate all festivals,

it is a religion of festivals to begin with,

there is no beating or violence or anything like that in it,

it is totally non- violent. And inclusive in this is that you feed everyone

Diwali barfi,

You celebrate Holi together with everyone, celebrate Diwali, that sort of thing.

The Muslim says no, celebrate only our festivals,

celebrating other festivals is haram. From many such things I learned many lessons,

which made me feel that this Hindu dharma, this Sanatan philosophy,

is not like it is in the Abrahamic religions, where one man comes and says,

I am the Prophet, Allah has sent me, and has given me this book,

and it has descended from the heavens, and these are the rules of life,

you must follow them in every situation, and by the force of the sword.

Whereas Sanatan has been formed through fifty thousand years of evolution.

And it was not given in one day, in one book, by one man who just appeared,

in it came the Vedas, the Puranas, the Gita, the Ramayana, in it, in different eras,

different teachings were given and a basic ideological faith developed.

In which there is no discrimination anywhere, okay,

later someone says the caste system came, this and that, all of this is political.

And when it was the era of the invaders,

these things were exploited even more in that.

So that Hinduism could be maligned,

and the Abrahamic religions that carried out invasions here,

they could make themselves famous here, or adjust here, or occupy this place.

So otherwise, what I have seen is that, for example, regarding women,

the biggest difficulty I have is that,

look, fifty percent of the world’s population, they are women, ladies,

females, mahilayen. And in Islam, in clear words— this very morning I

posted a video— that in clear words it is said that a woman, you know, is

a man’s slave.

And whenever, in whatever condition the woman may be, if the man calls her,

then the woman must obey him.

And on one hand it is said that Islam gave women such a high status that paradise

was placed under their feet. But that same mother keeps getting beaten by

her husband, that same mother cannot step out

of the house without her son’s permission, half a share in inheritance,

half in testimony,

Prophet Mohammed says that when I was riding a horse,

flying up to the sky to meet Allah, I was shown hell, and I saw that hell was filled

with women. So a woman asked,“ O Messenger of Allah, why was it like that?”

He said,“ Because they do not obey their husbands,” meaning if you live in slavery,

then you will be saved. So the rights of fifty percent of the population are gone

just like that. Whereas in Hinduism, women are goddesses, there is no goddess

among Muslims.

But in Hinduism there are goddesses,

we have never seen in history that there was discrimination.

That women get only half the inheritance or half the share, or this and that.

So all these things made me feel that the right path is to follow the Gita,

no other book. Yes, that is a very good thing, I feel so happy that you have

spoken so well…

I mean, understanding the Gita— I also understood it very late, but once I did,

I realized what Abrahamic religion was and what this is,

we come to know the difference between them.
