Iran's Conditions for Opening Strait of Hormuz

These gentlemen came to see Iran's conditions

for opening the Strait of Hormuz.

They asked us to state the conditions so

they could convey them to the Americans,

and we are drawing up a list of conditions

to tell them.

The first stage now is the Strait of Hormuz,

and America must declare that the war must stop

throughout all of West Asia and in Lebanon

in particular.

Yes, that is the situation.

The issue of the Strait of Hormuz is linked

to ending the wars throughout the region and in Lebanon

and Gaza in particular. If the Americans

seek to open the Strait of Hormuz,

they must abide by these conditions.

Our policies in the new diplomacy consist

of not walking behind the Americans or

alongside them.

Rather, America must follow us and walk behind us,

meaning they must comply. We have spoken enough on this

matter. We declare our conditions,

and if they accept them,

the strait will open. They must accept the conditions

and implement them. One of these conditions

is the issue of ending the war throughout

the entire region, and in Lebanon in particular,

Gaza too. The war must end, and the

Americans must declare that.
