We’re on the verge of the new year, in about ten minutes the year will change.

I wanted to ask, why did you decide to be here in Enqelab Square at this moment, which is important for all Iranians?

Because of my homeland.

Because of my compatriots.

Because of that bundle of martyrs.

Why should you be in this family when the people are here, when so many people have been martyred?

So why should we sit at home, for what? Let’s come right here to that same Baqereh section.

Now the point is to be out in society, to be here.

Our soldiers are now at the front, carrying out their duty.

It is our duty as the people to protect this place

To protect this same street

Given the national situation, we have to be out here in the thick of it

In the end, we also came with the intention of supporting the fighters standing by the launchers and on behalf of the unknown soldiers

We women came here

I also care about the country even more than this place

As guidance for the victory of our country as well

We came here so we would not leave the scene

And so they know that we are behind them

And even in the coldest moment, under the rain, we were here

So that they would feel supported and I could continue the war
