Military Exercise Confusion During Attack

They wake up at 6:29 a.m.

to a barrage of gunfire

unlike anything I'd ever heard,

and the first thought that goes through my mind is,

What happened to Sinwar? What is he thinking to himself?

What does he think will happen now?

Because with that much gunfire, clearly, we're going to war.

We're not even talking about the series. We're in the middle of something.

I never saw coming, and I get a call from

the head of operations

for the sector, and he says, "Sis, it's a drill."

I say, "What?"

"Where are you?"

He says, "I'm in the command center." I say, "What are you doing in the command center?"

"What happened?"

He says, "There were various warning signs overnight."

I say,

"What drill? They're firing at the whole country." He says, "What?"

And he hangs up on me.
