R. S. Jayaraj and I filled in that swing

scene completely.

The music is by A. R. Rahman, but he came wanting to do something new.

The swing scene is disturbing him, sir.

He doesn't know what to put there. He's done everything else.

The opening, the title song, the "thath thath thath" as the spear arrives,

and Padayappa's arrival, he's finished scoring all of it.

While I was wondering what to do with that scene, after he left,

Jayaraj and I sat down, and I asked, "Sir, should we fill it up with something?"

He said, "Yes, let's do it. Go get it."

He said, "Yes, let's do it. Go get it."

Look at all the scenes, look at everything that's there.

Then he goes on

scrolling through it: "This is there, this is there, this is there. Sir, take this."

If you need something for the swing, put on the title music, sir.

Then it goes, "Thaath thaath thaath thaath, thaath thaath," and then…

The swing flips, right? He said, "Start from there," and then…

we put it in. So Jayaraj and I sat down and filled

in the blanks.

As soon as he came, Jayaraj and I had filled it in. Listen. "Put it on, put it on."

He listened to it all the way through, then said, "It's over, the film's over."

Ah… ah… ah… ah… ah… He himself is applauding.

Ah… ah… ah… ah… ah… He himself is applauding.

So he was such a childlike person.
